American 19th seed Madison Keys has pulled out of Wimbledon after suffering an abdominal injury.

Keys has been replaced in the draw by lucky loser Coco Vandeweghe.

Croat Borna Coric has also pulled out of the event, with a shoulder injury.

He was drawn to face Diego Schwartzman and that spot will be filled by an as-yet-unannounced player who lost in qualifying.

Meanwhile, concerns over the fitness of Emma Raducanu have been dispelled after the US Open champion declared herself fit for the event.

“This week has been a great build-up,” she said.

“There were moments earlier in the week where we weren’t sure if I would play, but now it’s full steam ahead. Everyone is really looking forward to it. I’m ready.”

Her decision saw a surge in prices on resale websites offering tickets for the opening day.

Viagogo was offering VIP seats for £2,700, with even the cheapest priced at £1,474.

Wimbledon Debenture Holders’ resell site was selling pairs of Centre Court tickets for £3,090.

Debentures for Centre Court cost £80,000 for five years, but are the only tickets that can be freely traded and last month a full debenture fetched £120,000 at auction.
