Stefanos Tsitsipas will attempt to continue his steady improvement at the Rotterdam ATP event by returning for a fifth consecutive edition.
The Golden Greek ranked sixth has never gone beyond the second round at the Ahoy stadium but has high hopes for better days when play begins indoors on March 1.
“It is always a pleasure to be back in the Netherlands,” he said in a statement. It’s a privilege that I have been able to play many tournaments there from the very beginning of my career.
“I look forward to being in Rotterdam again in March.”
Tsitsipas joins a field which will be headed by No. 2 Rafael Nadal and bolstered by former champions Gael Monfils and Stan Wawrinka.
“Stefanos Tsitsipas fits in the line of talents that we gave a chance early in their career and that have since risen to great heights,” said TF Richard Krajicek. .
“It is no coincidence that he will be here for the fifth year in a row.”
