Three more players from the Adria Tour have tested positive for coronavirus, Croatian officials have confirmed.
Borna Coric posted on his Twitter account that he was on one, asking everyone he had been in contact with to test for the virus.
“I want to inform you all I have tested positive for COVID-19.
“I am really sorry for any harm I might have caused.
“I’m feeling well and don’t have any simpletons (sic).”
Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov tested positive on Sunday after playing the Balkan event in Zadar.
His fitness coach is also suspected to have become infected.
Tests are being conducted in Zadar on people who have been in close contact with Dimitrov.
The news was greeted with astonishment from Australia Nick Kyrgios, who responded to Coric’s post in typical fashion.
“Boneheaded decision to go ahead with the ‘exhibition’ speedy recovery fellas, but that’s what happens when you disregard all protocols. This IS NOT A JOKE.” he tweeted.
