One short year ago the then World No. 55 Carlos Alcaraz was asked by the ATP what he would like to achieve in Tennis.
With a wide smile his answer was “to win a Grand Slam or become World No.1”
At this month’s US Open Final he achieved both.
The scary thing for the rest of his fellow pros is some players do not even earn their first Pepperstone ATP Rankings point until age 19 and Alcaraz is already the Worlds’s No. 1 player.
