Swiatek sweeps into second Paris final

Iga Swiatek crushed Daria Kasatkina 6-2, 6-1 on Thursday to power into her second Roland Garros final with a 66-minute rout.

The Polish top seed has now won her last 34 matches and will bid on Saturday for her sixth title in a row this season.

Swiatek will face Coco Gauff in Saturday’s final..

Swiatek lost an early break in the opening set against Kasatkina but stormed back to break twice and claim the opener.

The second set was even more straightforward as the world No. 1 was never threatened as she swept the last five games.
