Swiatek stays calm as seeds tumble

Iga Swiatek defeated Rebecca Peterson 6-2, 6-2 on Day Four of the Australian Open as other seeds began to tumble.

The 2020 French Open champion hit 19 winners and drew 24 unforced errors from her opponent.

Swiatek converted five of nine break points to cruise into the third round after 77 minutes on court.

She will face either Sydney semifinalist Daria Kasatkina or Magda Linette in the next round.
