Sakkari another shock loser at Indian Wells

Maria Sakkari was another to suffer a shock Indian Wells exit on the weekend, beaten 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 by Swiss Viktorija Golubic.

Golubic saved six of the 10 break points she faced while converting seven break points to outlive the Greek and take the match in two hours and 33 minutes.

Golubic will play Anna Kalinskaya next.

And Sakkari? She is still expected to set a new Greek record and be at least No.8 next week in the rankings.
