Elena Rybakina won the WTA Stuttgart event on Sunday to claim her third trophy of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 defeat of Marta Kostyuk.
The Kazakh who claimed Wimbledon honours in 2022, added Stuttgart on indoor clay to her titles this season in Brisbane and Abu Dhabi.
The world No. 4 now owns eight trophies over her career, including three on clay.
Rybakina reached her fifth final this season by upsetting two-time champion Iga Swiatek and ending the 10-match win streak here of the world No. 1.
The Kazakh completed victory in 69 minutes, never losing serve.
In addition to her prize money, Rybakina also claimed a new Porsche coupe. But without holding a driving license, she had to sit in the passenger seat while the shiny new toy was driven onto the clay court for her during the prize-giving ceremony. –
