Red alert for Sinner – Olympic travel delayed

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner is sparking concern, with the Italian delaying his travel to the Paris Olympics due to illness.

Italian agency ANSA said the top seed who lost a Wimbledon quarter-final to Daniil Medvedev while feeling poorly a fortnight ago postponed his Tuesday departure; his actual travel arrangements remain unclear.

The event opens on Friday in Paris, with the player expected to be one of the most high-profile athletes participating.
