Raducanu starts comeback trail down under

After having had elective surgery on both her wrists in April 2023 Emma Raducanu has arrived in Auckland and starts her comeback in the ABS 250 Classic begins on 1 January.

The 2021 US Open winner from an unprecedented qualifying start has slumped to 298 in the WTA rankings.

The first WTA event of 2024 will feature a main draw with Coco Gauff, Elina Svitolina, and Caroline Wozniacki all entered as they prepare for The Australian Open in Melbourne on 14 January.

As she left London Emma posted on Instagram “Memorable moment, off for my first trip post-op & feeling good!! Bye London,”
