Emma Raducanu is now hunting her fifth coach in 15 months after parting company with Dmitry Tursunov.
The 2021 US Open winner has yet to stabilise a mentor relationship after winning the Open 13 months ago from a qualifying start.
Former ATP player Tursunov, a California-based Russian whose travel possibilities are almost nonexistent due to sanctions, realised he could not go on and stepped away.
The 68th-ranked Raducanu who once cracked the Top 10, has also split from Nigel Sears, Andrew Richardson and Torben Beltz since September a year ago.
She and Tursunov lasted for less than three months after starting after her second-round Wimbledon exit.
In recent days, Raducanu cut her season short due to a wrist injury suffered in Asia but may now be back-flipping to take a spot for Britain the the BJK Cup to be played in November in Glasgow.
The BBC reports that Tursunov decided to end his coaching relationship while Raducanu was said to be ready to carry on.
