Raducanu dumps BJK Cup appearance

Emma Raducanu has made a last-minute schedule change, with the Briton withdrawing from BJK Cup competition in order to “look after her body” instead.

Only days after reaching the Miami quarters in her best performance since 2021, the No. 48 decided against participating in the international team event where Britain’s qualifiers will be played next weekend in the Hague.

Raducanu gave no indication of when she might next compete.

Britain are due to play the Netherlands and Germany in the competition set for April 10-12.
