A day after his split from coach Amelie Mauresmo became public, French player Lucas Pouille has revealed a positive test for COVID-19.

The No. 69 who has not played an ATP match in a year due to a stubborn shoulder injury, is isolating at home; he reports his only symptom is a lack of the sense of smell.

Pouille, who once touched the ranking Top 10, reported his situation on social media.

The 26-year-old, normally based in Dubai, will remain inside for seven days, and will then undergo another test to determine if he can begin on-court preparation for what might be an uncertain 2021 season.
