Possible AO draw delay for 24 hours

While the start of the Australian Open is under a cloud after a new COVID-19 scare in Melbourne, the draw for the tournament is likely to be postponed until tomorrow to allow for the results of testing being carried today.

Men’s and women’s singles hopes will learn their first round opponents and potential paths to the final in a low-key affair conducted at Tennis Australia’s offices in Melbourne.
