More than $75,000 in fines has been dished out to naughty players at Wimbledon during the first week of the event.

And men are three times more likely to commit an offence than women.

Australia’s Nick Kyrgios is way out in front on the leaderboard, after argued with the umpire and spat in front of some people in the crowd, resulting in a $10,000 penalty.

On Saturday in a fiesty clash with Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas Kyrgios argued again with officials and got a warning for swearing.

Kyrgios has been fined another $4000 for that clash and Tsitsipas was hit with a $10,000 fine for his behaviour.

The majority of the men’s fInes are for either unsportsmanlike conduct or audible obscenities, Benoit Paire the only exception, fined $2500 for equipment abuse.

Ukraine’s Lesia Tsurenko received the biggest fine in the ladies singles ($4500) for coaching.
