Dominic Thiem will bear down on his goal of returning inside the ranking Top 100 by the end of this season, with the former Grand Slam champion set to play a late-season Challenger event.

The 29-year-old Austrian who won the US Open in 2020 before a wrist injury in June of last season, will mix and match his schedule to try and maximise his point-earning potential.

To that end, the No. 132 who reached a summer Gstaad final and last week’s semi-final in Gijon has made an entry into the Bratislava Challenger from November 7 in the Slovak Republic.

The minor event will be added to a full calendar which already includes Tour events in his hometown of Vienna next week ,followed by the Paris Bercy Masters.
