Murray trials new coach Carril

Andy Murray is to have a trial with Spanish coach Esteban Carril, who recently had an ‘audition’ with Emma Raducanu.

Carril will work with Murray’s coach Jamie Delgado in Stockholm this week as the former world No. 1 attempts to revive his career.

Carril, who coached Jo Konta, was in Estonia last week with another British player, Katie Swan, who went to to win the $25,000 title there.

Murray faces Norway’s Viktor Durasovic in the opening round in Stockholm.
