Andy Murray will play the Laver Cup for the first time in September when the Scot debuts in the upcoming London edition of the annual Europe v World team competition.
The three-time Grand Slam winner is due to join the Europe side captained by Bjorn Borg at the event which is due to serve as the intended injury comeback venue for Roger Federer.
The event will be staged September 23-25 at the O2 Arena, longtime former home of the ATP Finals for more than a decade before the 2021 move to Turin.
“I love being part of a team and I know there is a great atmosphere and intensity at this event. I am very excited to join Roger and Rafa in Team Europe,” Murray said,
