Andy Murray will be joined at the new Cologne indoor ATP event next month by US Open finalist Alexander Zverev and French showman Gael Monfils.

Officials on Thursday began revealing the names of entrants who will lead the field at the ad hoc event created to fill in the gaps in the calendar after Asian cancellations due to the five-month COVID-19 shutdown.

Cologne will host back-to-back weeks of play in a departure from normal procedure.The first of the tournament begins on October 10, with the second to follow from October  

Others in the dual field: 2014 US Open winner Marin Cilic, Argentine Diego Schwartzman and Italian teen Jannik Sinner.
