Evergreen Croat Ivo Karlovic will hang up his racquet after two decades on the ATP at the US Open.
That’s the word from this week’s TD of the Los Cabos ATP 250 hardcourt event in Mexico. Geoffry Fernandez broke the news as he gave the 42-year-old a wild card entry.
The towering Karlovic played his first Tour main draw in 2001 at Tashkent, losing in the first round.
The rest of this summer looks to be a farewell tour for the player who owns nine titles – the most recent earned here five years ago.
