With his tennis career currently a huge question mark after playing just one match in 2023, NIck Kyrgios has shifted his attention to OnlyFans, setting up an account to show life behind the scenes in tennis.
The Australian is hoping to make a mark – and some residual income – on the platform best known for its porno and NSFW content.
But the 2022 Wimbledon finalist has another business model in mind.
“They (OnlyFans) are revolutionising social media and I wanted to be a part of that,” he said in a launch statement.
“Athletes can no longer just show up on the court or the field. We have to show up online too.”
Kyrgios called the online platform “the future,”
“I’ve been speaking to my fans directly for years and I know what they want to see.”
Kyrgios has never shied away from controversy and has set records in men’s tennis for levels of disciplinary fines over the years.
The 28-year-old touted “tips, tricks, and behind the scenes” as content driver on his channel.
“But also they’ll get to see all different sides of me,” he said. “Gaming, tattoos, my intimate side — it’s all on the table and I’ll be bringing fans along for the ride!”
