The horror run at Roland Garros continued on Sunday for Angelique Kerber with the three-time Grand Slam champion stunned 6-2, 6-4 by Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina in the first round.

The No. 139 Ukrainian winner handed Germany’s Kerber a fifth defeat in the Paris first round from six past appearances.

Kerber ended the spring clay season standing 4-4 after her loss in less than 90 minutes, losing serve six times.
