Fans will be back en masse at Roland Garros on Wednesday, with the tennis faithful all required to arrive with a COVID health pass.
Wednesday will be a day of celebration with an eager public allowed onto the grounds bearing either a COVID vaccination QR code or a test certificate issued up to 48 hours earlier.
Officials are planning on the big return, with two women’s quarter-finals and one men’s in the day session and a second men’s quarter at night in front of 5,000.
The current 9 p.m. Paris curfew which has kept the Chatrier stadium empty since last week will be slipped to a more tennis-friendly 11p.m.
Social distancing and masks will still prevail; the night session will begin on hour earlier at 8 p.m.
