American Taylor Fritz came back from one set down to beat Italian Lorenzo Sonego 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in Paris to set a clash with Andre Rublev in the next round.
Sonego opened up a 3-0 lead and held on to take the first set, but the second set went on serve until Fritz got a break in the sixth game to open up a 4-2 lead, a lead he never relinquished.
Fritz saved a break point in the fifth game of the third set, then broke again for a 4-2 lead, winning serve to seal the win after one hour and 52 minutes.
