Novak Djokovic will be barred from entry in to the USA to compete at the US Open in September if correct federal government rules applying to foreigners remains in place.

Foreign nationals entering the US still have to provide proof of vaccination – something Djokovic has constantly railed again.

The Serb world No. 3 will be hoping US health administrators will review the rule, although current thinking out of Washington is that there will be no short or mid-term change of policy.

Djokovic will not be able to compete in events in Toronto, Cincinnati and the US Open.

And this could have a serious knock-on effect of his chances of reaching the ATP finals in Turin later in the year.
