Grigor Dimitrov will play the 2020 US Open, but is still undecided about the Western and Southern Open that starts next week.
The world no. 19 was set to travel to New York today and has told friends he will make a decision on the Masters 1000 event once he has arrived.
A month ago the Bulgarian, who tested positive for Covid-19 during the Adria Tour exhibition organised by Novak Djokovic said he was not sure about playing.
“I don’t know if I am going to be able to recover that quickly in order for me to fly again, and I have to put my body through a really rigorous regime again… I want to say it’s ambitious for me to go play but I am just really not sure how my body is going to respond,” Dimitrov said.
