Former champion Amelie Muaresmo has parted ways with a second ATP player, with the double Grand Slam champion splitting with Frenchman Lucas Pouille.

L’Equipe on Saturday gave the reason as COVID-19 rules, which mean that Mauresmo could not travel with the newly married Pouille and his family to events as part of his team (restricted numbers allowed)..

The 41-year-old Mauresmo, who won the Australian Open and Wimbledon titles in 2006, also worked several seasons ago with Andy Murray, becoming one of the few women to ever coach and ATP player.

Mauresmo has had little to do in recent months, with Pouille making a slow shoulder injury recovery.

The No. 69 who once cracked the Top 10, last played an ATP match more than a year ago in Shanghai.
