Brits flop in Miami qualifying

In the ongoing Miami Masters qualifying tournament, all three Brits have fallen in round one. 

Jay Clarke, lost to American Bjorn Fratangello 6-2, 6-1. 

Liam Broady, who sits just outside the top 100, lost to another American, Christopher Eubanks, 6-4, 6-2. 

Finally Harriet Dart, who just broke the top 100 for the first time in her career, lost to Tatjana Maria in the women’s draw, 6-3, 6-3.

There are two Britons in the main women’s draw, 11th seed Emma Raducanu who has a bye, and Heather Watson, who faces Arantxa Rus in round one.

The men’s draw features 10th seed Cam Norrie, 24th seed Dan Evans, a wildcard for Jack Draper, and another wildcard for Andy Murray.

The seeded players have a bye, while Murray faces Frederico Delbonis, and Draper faces Gilles Simon in round one.
