Australian Open runner-up Jennifer Brady is the latest player set to miss next month’s season opener in Melbourne with injury.
No. 25 ranked Brady, who could be out until March, struggled through the 2021 grass court season and then lost in the first round at the Tokyo Olympics.
Brady lost 6-4, 6-3 to Naomi Osaka in the Melbourne final in February.
Brady joins former champions Bianca Andreescu and Serena Williams on the Melbourne no-show list.
