Andy Murray lost to Benoit Paire in the first round of the Open Sud de France in Montpelier so has yet to win a match in 2024.
Three time Grand Slam winner Murray has lost all of his first round matches this year at the Brisbane International and the Australian Open.
The 36 year old Scot let slip a one-set lead against Paire and lost 6-2 6-7 (5) 3-6 in just under three hours and stormed off court.
Murray, who stated after his first round Australian Open loss, this year could be his last on tour if he is “not enjoying it”
He had suffered losses to experienced tour players Grigor Dimitrov in Brisbane and Tomas Martin Etcheverry in straight sets in the Australian Open.
Murray had to endure jeers from the partisan French crowd as he failed to find his best form so far this season.
