The WTA season finishes this week with its final stop in Linz, Austria.
With no Asian swing in 2020 and with little women’s tennis outside the slams, the Linz tournament has attracted a good field, including Top 3 seeds Aryna Sabalenka, Elise Mertens and Dayana Yastremska.
Young French star Nadia Podoroska is seeded sixth. Eighth seed Bernarda Pera is the lone American in the field.
Veterans Vera Zvonareva, Sorana Cirstea and 2018 champ Camila Giorgi will also make an appearance.
Coco Gauff beat Jelena Ostapenko in Linz last year for her first WTA title.
