The Paris Olympics will throw some extra spice on the ATP schedule next summer, with Daniil Medvedev already dreading the quick changes of surface coming in the July-August period.
The frenetic Olympic summer will be a test for players, with the No. 3 particularly concerned about the lightning-round set of surface switches coming into view.
He confessed: “One of the things that I have suffered the most throughout my entire career is the change of surfaces.
“With the Olympic Games , we are going to have: hard court – dirt – grass – dirt – hard court.”
Medvedev called the test “a great challenge, the schedule will not be easy.
“But it is the same for everyone and my motivation remains enormous”
“I hope to keep up with the pace of the season until the end and – why not – win big titles.”
